Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO Makes Primary and General Election Endorsements at Biennial Committee on Political Education Convention
DES MOINES, IA – On Saturday, April 11th, the locals of the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO gathered at the COPE (Committee on Political Education) Convention to make endorsements for the 2026 election cycle. Additional endorsements may be made as necessary later if circumstances warrant.
“After careful consideration at the local and state level as labor bodies, we as the labor movement of Iowa have come to the consensus that these are the candidates that are the best for working men and women, as well as their families,” said Charlie Wishman, president of the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO.
