Steve Gorman
As a fourth-generation native of Council Bluffs, a retired firefighter, and a proud trade unionist, I know what keeps our community safe and strong. It isn’t political posturing; it’s hard work, mutual respect, and a commitment to protecting the people who live and work here. That is why I am standing with Eric Armstrong for Iowa House District 20.
Serving on the City Council, I’ve seen firsthand how decisions made in Des Moines directly impact our neighborhoods, our local first responders, and our municipal workforce. We desperately need leaders in the Statehouse who respect local control and understand that a thriving city requires fully funded public schools and strong support for our working-class families.
Eric Armstrong has proven he doesn’t just show up at election time; he listens. He has a background rooted in real-world problem-solving and an unwavering respect for the workers who build and protect Western Iowa. Eric will be a fierce voice for Council Bluffs and Carter Lake. I know he has our back, and I am proud to give him my full endorsement.
