Parade

Parade Start Time: 11:00 AM

The parade welcomes a wide variety of participants, including motorcycles, classic cars, churches, businesses, political floats, sports teams, and private organizations.

Parade Assembly Time: 10:30 AM. Sign up to walk in the parade with us!

For those walking with us in the parade, entries gather on Avenue K (east of N. 13th Street); we will have our specific position a few days before the parade. For those driving into Carter Lake to participate, come by 10:30 and park at/near the Carter Lake City Hall, located at 950 Locust Street, Carter Lake, IA 51510.

Festival

Immediately following the parade, join us for a Festival, Kids Zone, and Vendor Fair.

Eric Armstrong, Iowa House District 20 Candidate, and Shawna Anderson, Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors Candidate, will have a Meet & Greet with Carter Lake Residents at our pavilion tent Carter Lake Iowa Ball Field, located at 1701 Avenue Q, Carter Lake from 1-5 PM.

  • Beer Garden: Opens at 1:00 PM for adults to enjoy beverages in a festive setting  

  • Live Music: Scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, featuring local performers and entertainment  

  • Fireworks: The celebration concludes with fireworks at 10:00 PM, providing a grand finale for the day
